I was looking for a Reiki Practitioner who understands my unique needs. I was suffering from intrusive thoughts lately due to the incident I experienced, and that triggered one of my PTSD symptoms. When I found her info, I intuitively knew she was going to help me because she would understand the cultural context related to Japan where she has been educated and the dynamics of my upbringing there in Japan. She was very understanding and empathetic, instantly , I was able to make a rapport with her. Due to our distance, I tried a distant reiki appointment. I was at first skeptical, but once the session started , I started to feel unexplainable energies or feelings ….only I could explain was a feeling of ” unconditional love” from my head… and moved into my heart. I clearly felt that beautiful energies were coming into my body. After the session, my level of confident recovered and started to love myself again. I know I have to live with the symptoms of PTSD for the rest of my life , but it was so much at ease to learn that there is a way to live harmoniously by collaborating with “KI” from the Universe. Leigh was able to deliver “ki” for me through her diligent skills. I know she is going to be one of my medical networks for a long time. My experience taking Jikiden Reiki Classes 1&2 with Leigh has been life changing! As we are taught, “Reiki happens in spite of ourselves!” and “Reiki allows the body to heal itself”! Once you are certified and start sessions with family, friends, and new clients… it is enlightening to hear about people’s awareness on how they feel after their session. It is truly inspiring to know you are making a difference healing and bringing peace and comfort to someone’s life!
Leigh’s training approach is genuine and passionate! She incorporates her expertise as well as her phenomenal travel experiences to Japan into her classes. When she shares her learnings and the Japanese history, you will be transformed there and able to see and feel the culture. Leigh empowers students to ask questions and share thoughts throughout the classes which gives us the opportunity to learn from each other. She also provides a hands-on approach to ensure everyone is getting the practice they need. She does this by bringing in various clients with different health issues for us to work on together. We first ask the client how they are feeling, what health issues they may have and what areas they would like us to give attention to. Then we start the session and focus on our hands and how the client’s body reacts to the reiki, and lastly, we release their toxins. Leigh provides us with constant feedback on how we are doing. This is very beneficial as it allows us to immediately refine how we do things; thus, we are able to give people the best healing experience to balance their spirt.

This past weekend I became certified in Jikiden Reiki and it was AMAZING! The class far surpassed my expectations and hopes. It is clear how passionate Leigh is about Reiki. She is truly an amazing teacher with the patience of an angel. I immediately started to practice what Leigh has taught and am feeling more confident in my abilities each day. What an amazing day! I had the honor of receiving Jikiden Reiki from Leigh. The session was simply phenomenal, the healing energy was amazing and when I heard her saying something, I slowly began to come back from wherever I was. She then had me lay on my stomach and proceeded with a lymphatic massage that was hands-down the best I’ve ever experienced. I was a SKEPTIC and didn’t know what to expect. I had a lot of pain in my back, neck Achilles tendons- both have been in Constant pain burning for 8 months straight. I have been receiving PT for 6 months with little positive outcome . After my session with Leigh , the burning on my Achilles ceased! – Completely Gone- No more burning. It was hard for me to wrap my head around it all but I am so very grateful to feel normal again , to walk without pain and a cane. I have been working with Leigh since I was 13 years old. She has helped me get through some of my difficult times in my life. I had a lot of issues with social situations, studying , confidence and grades. Each time after working with her, I felt amazing and happy. My reiki session with Leigh
I am constantly looking for people to help with my chronic pain. I have to choose who I see and how I spend my limited health care money very carefully. Leigh is worth every penny. Last week, I walked in on crutches, and hardly had to use them at all after I left. Today I walked in limping with my broken toe, and left walking normally and able to carry things without increased pain. Leigh knew where I needed the healing in my body, and was able to find it. She is truly amazing and I highly encourage you to see her. The healing is unique among other reiki master’s I’ve seen and also other kinds of healing professionals. It’s been one full week since I experienced a healing by Leigh. I feel forever changed for the better having met Leigh. At first, as I left my session, I felt no different. I am a very open person so I knew it could take time. As the day went on, my day got better instead of spiraling. I suffer from moderate to severe anxiety. I am treated w meds but the physicality of the anxiety still wreaks havoc on my body (soreness, tense, headaches, worry) The next day upon waking, I realized something happened that hasn’t in a very long time. I slept through the night. I was up, at em. Ready to face my day with out the fog of not getting a restful sleep. I’ve been sleeping well all week! Since seeing Leigh last Monday the immense differences I see are: My overall attitude. I’m positive. I always try to be positive but certain times its was tough. Not anymore. I normally have a poor inner dialogue with myself but that is NO MORE. My mind is quiet and I’m peaceful. I’m able to implement the tools that I have gotten from years of therapy and they actually TAKE now. I’m so calm. I don’t have as much joint pain and am not as still as usual. Focused. On my kids. My work. I was always tense and rigid. Not any more! I’m very present where as before I was obsessing about the future and always worry some.
Reiki with Leigh is something that I will be implementing regularly into my life as well as my western treatments given by my therapist and meds by my psychiatrist. I also have a son who is on the Autism spectrum. I will be taking him and my 4 year old in to see her for a mini healing so that we’re are on the same “energy” page.
There is a place for Reiki in everyone’s lives. I was nervous and dare I say skeptic at first. I knew it could take time or even a few sessions. I am STILL feeling the effects of the healing and improving daily. One week later. I will forever be grateful for finding Leigh through a friend. I can not wait to see her again. EUPHORIC!!!
I had my first Reiki Session with Leigh yesterday. I have a hard time to put into words how wonderful it was.
